The idea
Recipe apps are built for browsing, not cooking. Mise is built for the moment you are standing at the counter: it knows what you have, walks you through each step, and answers questions in plain language without you washing your hands first.
Brand and screens
Warm, calm and tactile: sage, cream and terracotta, a friendly serif for headings, rounded icons, and photography that looks like a real kitchen. The board covers the logo, palette, type, icon set and the three core screens: home, recipe and chat.
Decisions
- Wrote the product requirements first, so every screen answers a real cooking moment.
- One big action per screen, readable from arm's length.
- The assistant lives in the recipe, not in a separate chat tab.
