The idea
A collaboration between two contrasting materials, wood and marble. Different textures and finishes run through the space to make it unusual, yet oddly appealing.
The timber is a mix of vinyl and timber-look tiles; the marble is Caesarstone with porcelain and marble tiles. Pendant lights and LED strips light the box.

Every finish, specified
Reflected ceiling plan, floor plan and sectional elevations, with each tile, bath, basin and mixer named and dimensioned, so the retailer's own products build the room.

Decisions
- Timber breaks out of its zone in jagged steps, so the two materials interlock instead of meeting at a straight line.
- Everything shown is from the retailer's range, so the display sells real products.
- A recessed niche and floating timber shelves keep the walls clean around the freestanding bath.
